How can I bring my sister to justice after stealing 10,000 from me and other family members?

Submitted by admin on April 14, 2009 – 12:04 pm5 Comments

My sister had told me if I was interested in buying property in Arizona she said I needed to put 1,000 dollars down per acre which I wanted 10 acres for myself and family so I gave her 10,000 dollars cash I did get receipts and a bogus contract the land she sold me belongs to the STATE OF ARIZONA I did report her to the AVONDALE POLICE DEPT. When they called her job she fled back to COLUMBIA ,TENNESSE where she now lives, and I have lost my 3 bedroom house and now live in a 2 bedroom apt. with my wife and kids, and the police are having a hard time bringing her to justice. I know I probably will never see my money, but I would like to see justice. She also stole from my friends, and family and it seems she continues ,because she called my brother and tried to sell land to him,but he didn't go for it.Steve Wilkos can you please help me? I'm going through alot of hard ship because of her. THANK YOU.

For $5,000 I can make it look like an accident.

Although I am not Steve Wilkos, I do have some experience in regard to this issue.

I would recommend seeking advice from a lawyer who is fully aware of the law. He/she may suggest seeking the money by filing a civil action suit.

I believe that this would be a very hard matter for you and your family given that she is closely related to you. I do feel that the only way she will be taught any thing out of this experience is by having her family comeing down hard on her.

I wish you the very best with this.

She is a criminal swindler. Didn't you know long ago she was untrustworthy? Why did you trust her? Did you even mortgage your house?

I think you're stuck. Unless she has assets, it looks like you are out.

If this is real, then you're sh*t out of luck. You already contacted the police and there is nothing they can do. Of course you could tell them where she is now and also contact the authorities in Tennessee. After that, the only thing you could do is to go to Tennesse and confront her yourself. I doubt that'd help and given the situation, could be dangerous for you. She's already shown that she doesn't care about you or your family and she may try to harm you to avoid further issues. Those types are worthless and don't give a damn about anyone. My advice: Forget about her, find a way to get back on your feet, and if she does cross your path again someday, then give her hell.

Good luck in getting your life back.

Hire a private investigator and track her down or you could bring charges against her in a court of law. If she doesn't show up , the judge could find in your favor and you could have a judgment placed against her. You must however have documentation that she intended to provide this land to you. Or you could call a thug and pay to have her knees shattered with a bat. Either way you can cause her pain.
